We're seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology group, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining distributed systems, combining software and systems engineering skills to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • You'll optimize existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • You'll build foundational technical components of our SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.
  • You'll collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions.
  • You'll monitor system capacity and performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before affecting stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated work experience as a Technical Operations Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell; ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
