Pharmacy Manager Role

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the operations of our pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, stock control, and compliance monitoring.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the pharmacy department, managing stocks, and maintaining accurate records. They will also be expected to conduct regular compliance monitoring and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure achievement of strategic objectives: revenue, cost, and service.
  • Inventory management: ensure availability of stocks at pharmacy.
  • Accuracy of stocks between system and physical.
  • Compliance monitoring on pharmacy.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of pharmacy department.
  • Ensure PTC meetings are conducted as per TOR and discussion points are closed and implemented.
  • Implementation of SOP.
  • Ensure proper storage: managing cold storage, LASA, segregation of expiry drugs, manage high alert drugs, Managing Narcotic and scheduled drugs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmacy management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
