Job Title: Financial Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, XERO software, and financial reporting.

About the Job

This role involves performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients' accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. They will provide expert advice on financial matters, including tax compliance, financial planning, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients' accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Provide expert advice on financial matters, including tax compliance, financial planning, and budgeting.
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of financial issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting, with demonstrated proficiency in XERO software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as tax compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
