We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Drive Verification Specialist to join our team.

This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute detailed pre-silicon verification plans, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute detailed pre-silicon verification plans, collaborating with systems and applications teams, as well as analog and digital design teams.
  • Create chip-level test-cases and behavioral models for analog blocks based on the verification plan.
  • Run automated/regression-based DV suites and extract key measurements using automatic extractors, populating them on Starfish.
  • Work closely with design and systems teams to review/spec gaps and design bugs, implementing AMS TBs in Verilog-AMS/Cadence Virtuoso to apply stimulus and check for pass/fail criteria.
  • Drive new/improved methodologies where needed, working with the EDA team to upgrade DV tools and flows.
  • Incorporate code-coverage, functional coverage, assertions, cover-groups, etc. to achieve 100% verification completeness prior to tape-out.
  • Participate in design reviews and create necessary design verification and product documentation.
  • Collaborate with test engineers/designers to come up with optimized DFT techniques and execute pre-silicon verification of mixed-signal products.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of motor drive systems, key care bouts, and development flow.
  • Experience with pre-silicon verification, DV tools, and flows.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital design, as well as systems and applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information.
  • Familiarity with AMS TBs, Verilog-AMS, Cadence Virtuoso, and Starfish.
