Full-Stack Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to design, develop and deploy scalable applications for unmanned aerial vehicle systems with a focus on low latency, real-time data processing and high performance.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end programming. They will collaborate with other software engineers and AI/ML experts to develop a comprehensive drone flight solution that enables seamless execution of enterprise drone missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain robust server and database architectures for high-performance full-stack applications.
  • Manage the entire software development lifecycle from conception to deployment.
  • Work on our React-based drone management portal, ensuring seamless integration with drone applications and handling features such as flight plans, user management and admin tasks.
  • Develop and optimize Android/iOS UAV control applications using existing drone SDKs to communicate with front-end and back-end systems.
  • Build upon novel technology offerings including computer vision and object detection on low-compute devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product development teams and be responsible for designing and building drone applications.
  • Integrate IoT and edge devices, manage high-bandwidth sensor data, perform sensor fusion and optimize edge computing solutions for real-time UAV telemetry.
  • Implement solutions for 3D environment modeling using LIDAR-equipped drones.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and optimize software performance for real-time UAV operations.
  • Collaborate on framework evolution by building reusable code and libraries.
  • Develop advanced UAV analytics dashboards integrating real-time telemetry and geospatial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Web technologies: React.js, Vue.js, WebGL, Three.js, CesiumJS.
  • Mobile apps: Flutter, React Native.
  • Ground control software: QGroundControl, Mission Planner.
  • Experience in mapbox/mapping solutions, mapping libraries (GDAL, Geopandas), OpenGL.
  • Cloud & IoT backend: AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, Google Cloud, AWS Lambda.
  • Database & data processing: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, MQTT.
  • Server-side frameworks: FastAPI, Flask, Node.js.
  • DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.
  • MLOps: MLflow, Kubeflow.
  • Experience in LIDAR/3D mapping.
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, data structures and database management.
  • Experience with Linux environments.
