Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Automation Testing Expert to spearhead high-impact automation projects, drive innovation, and mentor junior engineers.

About the Role:

This leadership position demands a strong expertise in Selenium, Python, and API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks, leading test automation initiatives, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Python.
  • Drive API automation testing strategies using Python and tools like Postman/RestAssured/Requests library.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define and implement effective test strategies.
  • Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Mentor and guide junior automation engineers within the team.
  • Provide technical leadership in test automation and contribute to overall QA roadmap.

Requirements:

  • 7 - 9 years of experience in Automation Testing, with at least 3+ years in a lead/mentorship role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Python.
  • Expertise in API test automation (REST/SOAP APIs) using Python libraries or tools.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, Page Object Model, BDD/TDD).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Bonus Skills:

  • Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes.
