Test Automation Specialist

Contribute to the development of high-quality software applications by joining our team as a Test Automation Specialist.

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to collaborate with cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts for software applications.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and develop appropriate automation strategies.
  • Identify areas for automation and conduct thorough analysis of software applications to ensure optimal test coverage.
  • Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to test automation.

Requirements

  • 2 to 6 years of proven work experience as an Automation Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver/Cypress and Java/Python/C#/Javascript programming.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and tools.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related field.
  • Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
