We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Automation Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the implementation of automation solutions in manufacturing environments.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with factory users, providing demos and training on application functionalities, and managing stakeholder relationships. They will also drive application deployment line-wise and achieve go-live milestones.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with factory users and stakeholders to demo application functionalities, support configuration, and handholding during hyper care
  • Preparing and agreeing deployment plans with factories and executing deployment activities
  • Weekly status report preparation and governance
  • Supporting pre-UAT - Functional solution validation, basic troubleshooting

In addition, the candidate will take a lead role in new opportunities from initial concept to delivery and operational support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience in MES implementation on COTS tools like Apriso, Simatic IT, GE Proficy, SAP ME/MII, Rockwell, etc. They should also have a good understanding of manufacturing business processes, preferably in the CPG industry.

Adequate knowledge of ISA95 / MESA standards and fair understanding of control systems automation and OPC tools like Kepware is required.

Familiarity with Agile framework and Industry 4.0 is an added advantage.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Experience in MES implementation on COTS tools
  • Good understanding of manufacturing business processes
  • Adequate knowledge of ISA95 / MESA standards
  • Fair understanding of control systems automation
  • Familiarity with Agile framework and Industry 4.0
