Software Design Engineer - C++ Middleware

We are seeking an experienced software design engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality software.

Job Description:
  • As a member of our agile team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, performant, and secure software solutions.
  • You will work closely with our dynamic team to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Our software is an integral part of BMW vehicles, so you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the driving experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of practical software development experience in C++.
  • Very good coding skills in Modern C++, including good API design, object-oriented, as well as component-level software architecture and unit testing.
  • Multi-platform development, state-machines, event driven programming, remote procedure calls, hands-on knowledge with Linux stack.
  • Compiler toolchains (gcc, clang), C++ quality assurance, Git.
  • Good knowledge with Qt5Core, CMake, Yocto/Linux, Python, debugging (gdb, strace, log analysis).
