The Role of a Technical Consultant
Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced technical consultant to join our team in delivering high-quality solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs
- Prepare detailed technical design documents for stakeholder review and approval
- Design, develop, and implement functional extensions, forms, workflows, and reports using Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities
- Integrate systems using various connectors and APIs
- Deploy projects using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps tools
In addition to the above responsibilities, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of solution architecture, Excel add-ins, and parallel process development in Logic and Function Apps. They should also be proficient in X++, event handlers, data entity extension and development, database design, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
Competency Requirements- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation and customization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence project outcomes
- Ability to plan and organize delivery of solutions using structured methodologies like Sure Step
- Demonstrated track record of delivering 3-4 large implementations or equivalent
