Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructure, as well as providing expert-level technical support and guidance to our operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, with experience in firewall management, centralized management, security policy implementation, network security architecture, upgrades and patch management, VPN and remote access, integration and automation, incident response, documentation and reporting, and compliance and audits.

Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a structured and reliable approach to their work. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Firewall Management: Experience with FortiGate, Cisco Firepower/ASA firewalls, and deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Centralized Management: Knowledge of Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, and Cisco FMC is highly desirable.
  • Security Policy Implementation: Ability to define, enforce, and optimize firewall rules and security policies in line with industry best practices.
  • Network Security Architecture: Support for designing and implementing secure network infrastructures.
  • Upgrades & Patch Management: Experience with firmware upgrades, security patching, and version updates for firewalls in a controlled and compliant manner.
  • VPN & Remote Access: Configuration and management of Site-to-Site VPNs, SSL VPNs, and IPSec tunnels for secure remote connectivity.
  • Integration & Automation: Integration of firewalls with security tools, SIEM solutions, and automation frameworks to enhance visibility and incident response.
  • Incident Response: Investigation and resolution of firewall-related security incidents and network connectivity issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintenance of up-to-date documentation for firewall configurations, rule sets, change management logs, and compliance reports.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensuring firewall configurations align with organizational security policies and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS, and supporting internal/external audits as needed.
