Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our retail and last mile delivery functions for any ecommerce brand or platform. This role is responsible for handling entire retail operation and warehouse operation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of retail stores and warehouses, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all processes.
  2. Coordinate between store teams and warehouse teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  3. Negotiate and handle daily operations with third-party logistics providers.
  4. Invoice and e-waybill management.
  5. Reconcile transporter billing and invoices.
  6. Analysis of store inward, outward and find out the root cause of any issues.
  7. Inspect goods for damages and discrepancies and report any issues.
  8. Short inventory received at store and vice versa.
  9. Closing of inventory movement between stores and warehouses.
  10. Take follow-ups with stores, logistics and other teams.
  11. Make MIS report and circulate to respective departments.
  12. Manage the core team of warehouse operations retail team.
  13. Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.

Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in managing retail and warehouse operations.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  3. Strong people management skills with cross-functional team and communications skills.
  4. Decision maker with little or no supervision.
  5. Knowledge of ERP/WMS systems will be an added advantage.
  6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • General retail knowhow including but not limited to tracking, understanding and achieving KPIs.
  • Microsoft office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to and willingness to learn of the company culture, gain product knowledge and use it.
