Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the continuous evolution of our client's infrastructure as code approach.

You will play a pivotal part in implementing security recommendations, supporting sales, compliance, and delivery in the context of audits and RFPs. Your expertise will be crucial in building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.

  • Propose and implement advanced cloud architectures, ensuring continuous alignment with key cloud providers such as AWS and Google.
  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure, ensuring automation, resilience, and security.
  • Support the continuous improvement of efficiency when setting up new cloud infrastructure and maintaining existing instances.

In addition, you will require:

  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with Linux systems management
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo or similar)
  • Solid experience with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash, GO, Java, Node.js, PHP)
  • Experience with application and system monitoring tools (such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana)
  • Experience in the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of web servers (Apache, NGINX), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), caching (Cassandra, Redis, Memcache or others), and queues (RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or similar)
  • Experience working as a DevSecOps or Cloud Engineer in an agile and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a continuous integration/deploy environment
  • Experience with AWS
  • Automation experience in the context of a microservice/SOA architecture
