US Engineering Team Lead Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced US Engineering Recruitment Team Lead to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in end-to-end US IT recruitment, along with exceptional team leadership skills.

This role demands strategic thinking, team management, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead and manage a team of US Engineering Recruiters, ensuring performance targets are consistently met
  • Drive end-to-end recruitment for US-based Engineering roles (W2, C2C, 1099) across multiple clients and industries
Key Responsibilities:
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through job portals, social media, databases, and referrals
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and delivering quality candidates
  • Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, submission deadlines, and quality parameters
  • Monitor daily/weekly team performance and recruitment metrics
  • Stay updated with the latest recruitment tools, technologies, and market trends
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in US Engineering Recruitment, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role
  • Deep understanding of US employment types (W2, C2C, 1099), visa classifications, and tax terms
  • Strong knowledge of job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.) and ATS/CRM tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor high-performing recruitment teams
  • Comfortable working in night shifts aligned to US time zones
