Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

  • Implement and manage Azure cloud infrastructure services, leveraging 2-4 years of experience in IaaS, PaaS & SaaS administration.
  • Configure and troubleshoot virtual machines, databases, storage accounts, application gateways, load balancers, container orchestration with Kubernetes and AKS, and DevOps components.
  • Manage multiple cloud servers using Azure Cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Deploy and manage Azure tenants, subscriptions, resources, resource groups, network security groups, and other related components.
  • Develop knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure services.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation tools like Terraform and Ansible to streamline cloud provisioning.
  • Understand Azure Resource Manager Templates (ARM Templates) for efficient resource deployment and management.
  • Orchestrate containers with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with delivery engineering teams.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply written instructions or other information.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification is a plus.
  • Desired Certifications: AZ 104, Azure Developer, Azure DevOps Engineer.
  • Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, PowerShell, BASH, cloud platform automation tooling, scripting languages, software development languages, data experience, networking experience.
