Bookkeeper Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled bookkeeper to manage financial records for multiple franchise locations. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining accurate and timely financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post daily transactions and perform month-end closes for multiple locations
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts, as well as third-party delivery or marketplace deposits
  • Match point-of-sale sales to deposits and resolve over/short cash variances
  • Integrate and reconcile data from various point-of-sale systems, including Toast, Square, Clover, Lightspeed, Revel, and Shopify POS
  • Maintain clean bank feeds and mapping rules in QuickBooks Online or Xero
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SMB or franchise bookkeeping, preferably with multi-unit exposure
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, including classes/locations, bank rules, and recurring journals; Xero is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with at least one point-of-sale system listed above and marketplace/aggregator reconciliations
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP basics, sales tax, payroll journal entries, and multi-state nuances
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic modeling
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines across multiple clients
