About the Role

The Divisional Risk and Control Analyst plays a crucial role in providing data analysis and identifying potential areas of non-compliance or risk. This role assesses the impact, probability, and defined risk tolerance, presenting findings and proposals for risk mitigation measures. The Divisional Risk and Control Analyst supports the delivery of risk and control initiatives, including participation in risk and control activities, risk-based control reporting, and performance validation of cyclical activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help identify SMEs and ERTs against control requirements
  • Test responses from SMEs to ensure they meet regulator expectations
  • Test BT-owned controls for effectiveness
  • Assist BT teams in identifying gap owners, remediation plans, and proper forums for gap representation and governance
  • Validate artefacts for different life-stages of RAF assessments to ensure assessments are carried out per DCRO RAF process

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in similar roles in a Technology company or Banking Technology division or IT audit
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Risk and Control Lead in designing and implementing Technology risk frameworks in a global organization
  • Good understanding of industry best practices such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 27001
  • Deeper understanding of industry-wide risk landscapes and regulatory expectations
