Cloud DevOps Engineer - Build, Deploy and Manage

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in development and operations, with a focus on automating and accelerating the testing, release, and deployment of applications in a cloud environment. This role is crucial for ensuring continuous delivery, mentoring junior team members, and maintaining a robust infrastructure.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines using industry-leading tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure, including AWS services like ECS, EKS, IAM, S3, VPC, Lambda Function, EventBridge, and RDS.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application deployment and minimize downtime.
  • Developing automation scripts using languages like Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
  • Mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in IT disciplines such as technical architecture, application development, or operations.
  • Experience optimizing applications to maximize performance and maintain stability while adding new features.
  • Any AWS Certification.
  • Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management using tools like AWS CDK.
  • Scripting skills for automation.
  • Experience working with Git for source control.
