Java Backend Developer

Are you an experienced Java developer looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment? Do you have experience with AWS and want to leverage your skills to build scalable solutions?

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, AWS, and software engineering principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java applications with a focus on deploying and managing services on AWS using EKS. They will also be expected to implement robust solutions utilizing AWS cloud services such as API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, Cognito, EventBridge, Step Functions, CloudWatch, SNS, and SQS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage containerized applications ensuring seamless deployment and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Integrate platforms via APIs and manage interactions between different services and databases.
  • Utilize GitLab for version control CI CD pipelines and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and design principles.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality performance and security throughout the development process.
  • Work effectively in agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to effectively communicate with customers both in English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.

Skills Required: Java, AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab, RESTful APIs, Agile methodologies, Strong communication skills, Ability to work under pressure.
