Job Title: Sr. Engineering Leadership Role

This position is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced engineering manager who has successfully led teams in developing modern web experiences with cloud services.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical vision to drive impactful business outcomes.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of full-stack engineers.
  • Establish clear expectations and foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
  • Hire, manage, and develop professional staff of engineers to set up a new team.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners to shape the team's roadmap.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management on software project development and capabilities.
  • Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, engineering, and process improvements.
  • Ensure high software engineering standards, including efficiency, quality, security, and resiliency.
  • Plan, execute, and ensure the success of complex technical projects.


Requirements:
  • BE/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred).
  • 10+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 5+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience in taking an idea and turning it into impactful products.
  • Proficiency in recruiting, organizing, and motivating teams.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong experience in technologies, such as ReactJS and NodeJS.
  • Experience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologies.
  • Proactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issues.
