Job Summary

As a strategic leader, you will oversee the Production Management function to ensure smooth operations across business-critical applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and solutioning capability.

  • End-to-End Production Ownership: Manage and optimize the production environment for enterprise applications.
  • Application Engineering Oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, automation, and performance tuning.
  • Production Support & Incident Management: Lead 24x7 production support operations, defining SLAs and driving timely resolution of issues.
  • Solutioning & Technical Leadership: Provide direction on technical solutions, architecture decisions, and process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal and external partners, serving as the single point of contact for production-related issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, QA, infrastructure, security, and compliance teams.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure production environments meet audit and security standards, mitigating operational risks through proactive monitoring.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of production engineers and support analysts.
Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 15+ years of experience in IT, with 5+ years in a leadership role in production/application support.

• Proven experience managing large-scale applications in a complex IT environment.

• Strong problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making skills.

• Deep understanding of ITIL framework, DevOps principles, and SRE best practices.

• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with monitoring tools, cloud environments, and automation (CI/CD pipelines).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• ITIL v4 Foundation / Intermediate.

• PMP / Prince2.

• Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure Architect or DevOps).
