Job Opportunity: RFP Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and create proposals by determining the concept, gathering information, writing drafts, and obtaining approvals.
  • Identify and clarify opportunities and needs by studying requests for proposal (RFPs) and attending strategy meetings.
  • Manage proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal.
  • Coordinate with contributors to ensure requirements are met and contribute to proposal status updates during review meetings.
  • Gather information for proposals by identifying sources, coordinating submissions and collections, and communicating risks associated with proposals.
  • Assemble and develop proposals by combining project information including objectives, implementation methods, timetable, staffing, budget, performance standards, and evaluation criteria.
  • Write, revise, and edit drafts, including executive summaries, conclusions, and organizational credentials.
  • Presentation preparation involves evaluating text, graphics, and binding materials.
