Job Title: Investment Accountant Specialist

The Role Description:

  • Collate data from administrators, banking providers, and internal forecasts to prepare daily cash reports for active private equity secondaries funds using an in-house data visualization tool.
  • Reconcile capacity, loan balances, and forecast capacity movements to prior day reporting. Adjust manual forecast data for new deals and other uncertain cash flows based on the latest information.
  • Review cash management proposals from administrators for internal cash movements within fund structures and instruct them to make additional cash movements as required.
  • Develop short-term forecast proposals for each fund and vehicle, including loan drawdowns/repayments, money market fund subscriptions/redemptions, and FX trades.
  • Liaise with fund owners in the Treasury team to review and agree proposals.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate or equivalent qualification (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA).
  • At least 9 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably managing or leading employees for 2-3 years.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of PCAP and quarterly preparation of PCAP.
  • Ability to work independently, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures that benefit the organization.
  • Capacity to prioritize a large workload, manage multiple tasks, and show initiative.
