Job Opportunity: Mail Server Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Email Infrastructure Specialist to manage and optimize our email communication systems. This critical role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient email connectivity across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage IMAP, POP3, and SMTP mail servers for seamless email communication.
  • Develop and implement robust email security policies, including anti-spam and anti-virus systems to safeguard our email infrastructure.
  • Ensure smooth integration of Active Directory and DNS with mail servers for optimal performance.
  • Implement email authentication protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF) to enhance security and protect against cyber threats.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, backup, and recovery to maintain data integrity and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field with a strong foundation in email systems and network infrastructure.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mail server administration, with expertise in configuring and maintaining email systems.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments, as well as knowledge of scripting languages like Bash and PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of email protocols (IMAP, POP3, SMTP), DNS, Active Directory, and network infrastructure.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
  • Expertise in Zimbra, Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, or Sendmail, with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • Certifications like MCSE, Linux Professional, or Email/Network Security, demonstrating advanced skills and knowledge in email systems and security.
