Job Description:

Data Engineers are responsible for designing, building and maintaining large-scale data systems. This involves proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high standards of data quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and developing scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, processing and storage
  • Building and optimizing data architectures and models for efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Developing ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses and lakes
  • Ensuring data integrity, quality and security across all data systems
  • Collaborating with data scientists, analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Expertise in data integration, processing and storage
  • Knowledge of data optimization architecture, data processes and data flow
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
