Accounting Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished accounting professional to lead our finance team. As a seasoned Accounting Manager, you will oversee all daily accounting operations and drive efficiency through technology.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Oversight: Manage and supervise daily accounting activities including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Tax Compliance: Serve as the company's subject matter expert on all tax-related matters. Ensure timely filing of tax returns and handle reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Take ownership of financial reporting in SAP Business One. Utilize advanced SQL skills to develop custom reports and create complex queries.
  • Closing & Analysis: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
  • Audits & Compliance: Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors. Develop robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Development: Mentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate has a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited manufacturing company in India. They should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance and possess a professional certification (CA / CMA) if possible. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and leadership qualities are essential attributes for this role.
