Storage Expert

Job Description:

As a Storage Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily administration of storage environments. This includes collaborating with support teams, participating in problem-solving and troubleshooting, supporting design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for storage infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience on Hitachi Mid-Range and Enterprise storages operations support, including zoning via CISCO SAN Switches, storage replication technologies like GAD, HUR, True Copy, Local Replication, and monitoring tools like OPS Center Analyser and Hi-Track.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day administration of storage environments
  • Collaborate with support teams
  • Participate in problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • Support design, operation, workflow, and issue resolution for storage infrastructure
  • Maintain systems level maintenance for storage infrastructure

Key Skills:

  • 8 years+ experience handling majority of activities mentioned above
  • Experience handling Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure
  • Exposure to Operations and Management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management

About the Role:

This role requires excellent technical skills and knowledge of storage systems and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide high-quality storage solutions to customers.
