About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Engineer to lead the design and engineering of pipeline systems, encompassing route selection, material specification, stress analysis, and hydraulics.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing and reviewing technical documents such as specifications, data sheets, drawings, and reports.

Responsibilities include ensuring pipeline design adheres to relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, B31.8, DNV, API) and conducting pipeline integrity assessments, risk analysis, and implementing mitigation strategies.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential, including process, civil, mechanical, and geotechnical engineers.

The successful candidate will participate in FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases of projects, interfacing with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Review and approval of vendor and contractor documents and deliverables are also key responsibilities.

Additionally, the role involves providing technical support during construction, hydrotesting, commissioning, and start-up, as well as mentoring and guiding junior engineers and designers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline engineering principles and practices.
  • Expertise in designing and developing pipeline systems, including route selection and material specification.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing technical documents such as specifications, data sheets, drawings, and reports.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.4, B31.8, DNV, API).
  • Ability to conduct pipeline integrity assessments, risk analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
