The Fuel Biller maintains control over assigned fuel carriers, ensuring accurate billing of deliveries to Wholesale and Consignment locations. Meet required monthly deadlines and collaborate with the Inventory Accountant to close Consignment tanks by the assigned month-end close date. Work with the Fuel Billing Manager on issues that may arise.

  • Obtain BOL and related Delivery Ticket paperwork for assigned carriers.
  • Bill all sites associated with their assigned carriers.
  • Ensure all deliveries for their carriers are billed according to the daily Unbilled spreadsheet provided by the manager.
  • Research tank loss issues for the Inventory Accountant.
  • Research CRM cases involving assigned carriers.
  • Collaborate with Fuel Supply to ensure carriers pull correct products.
  • Utilize tools such as Axxis and dealer price letters to bill each delivery accurately.
  • Work with Fuel AP to ensure all deliveries are billed accurately and assist in meeting monthly deadlines on closing EFTs.
  • Assist the manager with unbilled reconciliations and other reconciliations assigned by the manager.
  • Support other team members, including covering carriers when other billers are on PTO.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Effective communication skills with strong oral and written abilities.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in outputs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to research issues with assigned carriers.
