Project Leadership Role

  • We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the delivery of complex projects.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, vendor coordination, and quality assurance processes.
  • They should be able to prepare detailed project schedules, monitor site progress, and conduct regular audits to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be able to identify opportunities for value addition, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage project finances effectively.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of data center operations, including installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, access, BMS, and fire alarm systems.
  • They should also possess relevant certifications for commissioning security and fire detection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Review & Approval: Review project scope, tender, and risk assessment with senior management.
  • Project Schedule Preparation: Prepare detailed project schedule in MSP with clearly defined critical path and milestones.
  • Data Center Expertise: Hands-on experience with data center projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, access, BMS, and fire alarm systems.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications for commissioning security and fire detection systems.
  • Project Management: Experienced in data center project management, vendor management, testing, and commissioning processes.
  • Resource Deployment: Ensure competent resources are deployed at site to handle project efficiently.
  • Site Progress Monitoring: Planned vs actual review of design and construction progress with design and project team.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct regular quality checks and audits during site walks and ensure findings are addressed promptly.
  • Value Added Opportunities: Identify opportunities for value addition, tender, non-tender, time extension cost escalation.
  • Site Meetings: Attend site meetings and raise alerts for dependencies or clearance impacting project deliveries.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project deliveries are met.
  • Financial Management: Manage project finances effectively, ensuring timely invoicing, AR collection, and account statement maintenance.
  • Project Completion and Handover: Conduct precommissioning checks before T&C and prepare O&M, As built, manual during pre-commissioning stage only.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in data center operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data center systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Relevant certifications for commissioning security and fire detection systems.
