Our Treasury team seeks a skilled professional to enhance hedge accounting capabilities.

About the Role
  • We are looking for an experienced individual to develop compliant and commercially effective strategies, focusing on IFRS 9 transition initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Technical Accounting, Treasury, IRRBB, Product Control, and other key stakeholders to deliver best-in-class hedge accounting solutions across the Group.

This role is pivotal in expanding the Bank's hedge accounting capacity, developing robust valuation models, and driving system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively identify and evaluate hedgeable exposures across the Bank to expand hedge accounting capacity.
  2. Design strategic initiatives for Treasury, including Hedge Accounting Control Solutions, in collaboration with IRRBB and Treasury.
  3. Partner with Technical Accounting, Group Reporting, and Product Control to drive compliance with applicable accounting standards, e.g., IAS 39, IFRS 9.
  4. Develop manual pricing reasoning and reporting processes for tactical interim solutions.
Requirements
  • Candidates must have strong technical skills in hedge accounting, with experience in implementing IFRS 9 transition initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with regional and cross-functional teams.
