Junior Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct extensive database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and performance issues using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear, detailed reports on software performance and issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software testing (Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing, automation testing using Selenium or Cypress, and database testing using SQL.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
