We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Storage Systems Expert.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM AIX operating system and storage technologies, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to IBM AIX and storage systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
  • Implement and manage security protocols, including access control and auditing, to safeguard sensitive data.
  • Develop and maintain efficient scripts and automation tools to streamline daily operational tasks.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience working with IBM AIX and storage technologies, including IBM Storwize, DS8000, and Tape Storage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expertise in scripting languages, such as Python or Perl.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions and migration strategies.
Mandatory Certification:
  • IBM AIX certification, demonstrating a deep understanding of the operating system and its applications.
