Health Awareness Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to coordinate health awareness programs and develop partnerships with government institutions.

This role involves liaison with State NHM departments, hospital administrators, and district health officials to build long-term collaborations that align our programs with state-level NCD and CVD priorities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • I. Government Liaison & Advocacy
    • Build and sustain strong relationships with State NHM officials, District CMOs, and hospital administrators.
    • Manage permissions, approvals, and compliance for awareness programs in government medical colleges and district hospitals.
    • Align our activities with state NCD/CVD strategies and provide documentation to enable long-term collaboration.
    • Represent us in state or district-level consultations, workshops, and meetings when needed.
  • II. Event Planning & Execution
    • Coordinate with hospitals, corporates, and PSUs to host awareness events, literacy campaigns, and health camps.
    • Mobilize participants and ensure smooth program delivery by liaising with doctors, patient advocates, and speakers.
    • Manage logistics such as venue permissions, approvals for IEC materials, volunteer coordination, and equipment support.
  • III. Documentation & Reporting
    • Prepare event reports, outcome summaries, and documentation in formats used by NHM/state departments.
    • Collect basic monitoring data (attendance, feedback, awareness indicators) and share with our central team.
    • Follow up with hospitals and NHM offices to sustain engagement.
  • IV. Partnership Development
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to embed our programs within government health initiatives.
    • Facilitate sponsorships, CSR partnerships, or co-hosted programs when relevant.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-7 years' experience in public health, NGOs, CSR, hospitals, or development programs.
  • Demonstrated work with government health systems (NHM, NCD Cells, Medical Colleges, District Hospitals).
