Job Title: Senior Process Safety & HSE Manager

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Process Safety Manager with experience in oil & gas projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and HSE standards across engineering, construction, and operational phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Safety:
    • Lead and facilitate HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA studies
    • Prepare/review safety philosophies, fire risk assessments, DSRs, and hazard area classifications
    • Develop QRA, FERA, ESSA, and other safety studies
    • Review P&IDs, layouts, and equipment specs from a safety design perspective
    • Support design reviews, MoC, and alarm rationalization
  • HSE Management:
    • Support HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements for projects
    • Conduct site HSE inspections, toolbox talks, and compliance checks during construction or commissioning
    • Ensure adherence to international HSE standards (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
    • Lead or support incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
    • Drive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical / Process / Environmental / Safety Engineering
  • 8+ years in process safety and HSE, preferably in EPC/design/project environments
  • Strong knowledge of PSM, risk assessment, and HSE regulations
  • Proficient in tools like PHAST, PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, DNV software
  • Certifications: NEBOSH IGC/PSM, TÜV Functional Safety, or equivalent preferred
