Accounts Payable Specialist Role Overview

Our Accounts Payable team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our ranks. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless end-to-end AP operations, including PO processing, invoice reconciliation, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, and credits.
  • Verify and ensure accuracy of invoices, including dates, amounts, and line items.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AP transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to AP transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

For this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-7 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
