Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our data migration efforts and oversee the development of cloud-based data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

The following responsibilities will be key to success in this role:

  • Cloud-Based Data Solutions: Develop and implement scalable and efficient cloud-based data solutions using cloud and big data technologies.
  • Data Processing Systems: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable data processing systems using Java and Apache Spark in a cloud environment.
  • Big Data Processing Pipelines: Architect and implement big data processing pipelines utilizing technologies such as Apache Spark and cloud-native services.
  • Serverless Applications: Develop and manage serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services to build efficient and maintainable solutions.
  • Container Orchestration: Use container orchestration tools (e.g., Amazon EKS or equivalent) to manage microservices-based applications.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions (e.g., Apache Airflow) for managing complex data pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., EMR, Lambda, EKS, Airflow, or their equivalents).
  • Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
