Unified Communications Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Unified Communications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining unified communications solutions using various technologies such as CUCM, CUC, IM & Presence, and Expressways.

About the Role
  • Design and implement unified communications solutions that meet business requirements and ensure seamless communication across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to unified communications infrastructure.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing unified communications systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Requirements
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of Unified Communications products and technology stack (CUCM, CUC, IM & Presence, and Expressways).
  • Expertise in designing and troubleshooting clusters, inter-cluster trunks, and high availability configurations.
  • Experience with SIP trunks, PRIs, codec negotiation, SIP headers, PRIs, and call routing logic.
  • Familiarity with Advanced IOS gateway setup (MGCP, H.323, SIP), dial peers, DSP resources, and survivability strategies.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and time management skills.
