Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our organization as an Infection Control Product Specialist. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns to build awareness and drive demand for infection control products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective marketing strategies to promote infection control products
  • Develop and manage product demonstrations, workshops, and industry conferences/exhibitions
  • Create compelling marketing collateral and presentations
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings
  • Demonstrate expertise in stock management and forecasting
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies for new product launches
  • Provide product training to sales and marketing teams
  • Conduct regular reporting on activities and progress

Market Development:

  • Plan and execute marketing programs to create pull in the market for infection control products
  • Launch new products or product lines
  • Coordinate symposia, marketing programs, CMEs, and conferences
  • Identify key architects, construction companies, and project consultants for business development
  • Provide product information to bio-medicals, CSSD managers, IC nursing heads, and consultants
  • Create marketing tools as required

Training Support:

  • Responsible for training for infection control products
  • Initiate, conduct, and facilitate internal product and technical training
  • Conduct operational training to end-users and provide follow-up support
  • Coordinate with other product managers for operational training during project completion

Sales Support:

  • Support the sales team with product knowledge, training, and strategic selling tools
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Attend or drive product-related discussions for projects, tenders, and flow business
  • Handhold and develop new sales reps to promote the product confidently
  • Closely work with sales teams to introduce and promote to consultants, architects, surgeons, technicians, and purchase authorities
  • Provide cost support and attend commercial negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs (key opinion leaders) in infection control and hospital administration

Other:

  • Track sales and manage stocks
  • Maintain and analyze sales data, addressing areas of concern
  • Handle complaints related to products from customers and coordinate with appropriate personnel
  • Perform other duties assigned by seniors/management to support the team
  • Visit customers regularly individually and with sales colleagues
  • Ensure all marketing and product communications comply with healthcare regulations and quality certifications
  • Stay updated with evolving regulatory requirements and industry guidelines

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, pharmacy
  • MBA/PGDM in marketing or healthcare management (preferred)

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in medical equipment, devices, consumables preferably in infection control industry
  • Proven track record in managing technical products and consumables

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of infection control practices and healthcare workflows
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and sales teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms
