About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Roche. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and managing data governance functions across several information systems managed by the AABI team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain data governance frameworks and policies across the systems.
- Own and act as the SME on data governance policies, enabling business priorities.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of enterprise information maps, including systems, owners, and associated processes.
- Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap, aligning strategic priorities of CxI.
- Build an enterprise-wide data governance framework, focusing on the improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organizational policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.
- Partner with various stakeholders and functions in implementing data governance solutions across the affiliate network.
- Facilitate the adoption of data quality standards, data protection standards, and adoption requirements across the enterprise via partnering and influencing without authority.
- Oversee relevant work and deliverables, coordinating with assigned internal resources and external consultants (onshore/offshore).
- Ensure adherence to various regulations like CCPA, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations applicable to the organization and our industry, partnering with data privacy experts within and outside GPS.
- Manage and maintain stakeholder relationships in a cross-functional environment relevant to the DG function.
- Create and own the budget, ensuring that assigned projects are executed within the planned budget.
- Own and manage data cataloging efforts across the GTM stream.
