Job Title: Electrical Commissioning Specialist

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the commissioning phase of energy storage projects by providing technical assistance during mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients on-site, liaising with subcontractors when necessary to ensure a smooth project execution.
  • Collaborate with professionals from diverse disciplines to implement a detailed commissioning schedule, working closely with colleagues from overseas.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports to monitor and address any deviations from the planned schedule.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams through regular follow-up meetings, coordinating with professionals from various disciplines.
  • Evaluate the installation of energy storage structures to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Possess 2-3 years of experience as an energy storage service engineer with hands-on site experience.
  2. Handle commissioning, pre and post-commissioning tests, and performance test verification to ensure quality results.
  3. Manage spare parts inventory, documenting transactions, and updating records. Notify the service manager in advance about spare part needs and estimated quantities based on failure rates.
  4. Maintain a safe and organized workspace by ensuring the safekeeping of tools.
  5. Oversight and task assignment to third-party service partner technicians, ensuring all work is documented and reported to higher management.
  6. Provide customer support through various channels, frequently interacting with customers both on-site and remotely.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in electrical projects (substations, power lines, or LV/MV cables). Experience with Energy Storage infrastructure (BESS) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated, and resourceful.
  • Strong understanding of BESS PCS and related supporting components.
  • Solid experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
