
Territory Development Manager

Job Description:
This role is responsible for driving business development in assigned territories, focusing on engineering software and services sales in CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with the ability to qualify prospects quickly and close deals efficiently.
Frequent travel within the assigned territory is required for customer meetings and office work. The successful candidate must be willing to drive marketing campaigns, including events and tech days, to generate leads.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sales activities and coordinate with technical teams to ensure client satisfaction.
A key responsibility of this role is to build a forecast plan and provide regular progress updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propose a sales plan for the assigned territory or select accounts.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Interface with clients and BU heads to achieve sales goals.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven sales experience within the industry.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Results-oriented sales professional with a track record of over-achieving quota.
- Experience with CRM tools, such as Salesforce.com.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
