Job Title:

A seasoned legal professional is sought after to assume the role of Principal Legal Counsel within a company's Office of Integrity and Compliance. The ideal candidate will possess 14-18 years of experience in a legal and compliance position, coupled with an in-depth understanding of corporate compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an efficient whistleblower program, encompassing seven key pillars of effective corporate compliance.
  • Leads global investigations on a wide range of issues, negotiating and implementing remediations as necessary.
  • Contributes to the development of the Compliance and Integrity Plan, preparing action plans and resolving problems.
  • Ensures exposure and understanding of key compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to the organization, including Whistleblower Regulations, Anti-Bribery - Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, and Confidentiality.
  • Analyzes data to conduct risk evaluations and mitigate potential threats, utilizing analytics and automation tools.
  • Reviews and enhances whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in close collaboration with HR.
  • Plans and conducts training sessions to enhance the whistleblower program and promote cultural assurance.
  • Provides expert advice on public policy, working closely with the Government Relations team.
  • Supports company positions by developing responses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
Qualifications:
  • JD degree from an accredited institution along with relevant experience as a compliance counsel.
  • Possession of additional qualifications such as CA/CFA is preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Experience in report development, policy creation, and procedure implementation in a multinational environment.
  • Analytical skills relating to business processes, business data, and interpersonal relations.
  • Public speaking and business presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of IT industry regulatory standards.
