Job Title: Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Railway Logistics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the efficient coordination and management of rail logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Indian Railways and other authorities to ensure the availability and smooth operation of railway rakes.
  • Monitor and optimize iron ore movement through rail logistics, minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
  • Maintain regular communication with railway officials to track rake allocation and movement status.
  • Resolve on-ground operational issues related to rail logistics, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure compliance with logistical regulations and safety standards, mitigating potential risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for rake movements and logistics performance, providing actionable insights for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4-12 years of experience in railway logistics, preferably in mining or iron ore sectors.
  • Strong network and liaison capabilities with railway departments, enabling effective collaboration.
  • Excellent understanding of rail freight operations and logistics planning, with ability to analyze complex data.
  • Superb communication and coordination skills, ensuring seamless interactions with stakeholders.
  • Able to handle pressure and solve operational challenges swiftly, making informed decisions under tight deadlines.

About the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) with relevant railway liaison experience, demonstrating expertise in logistics management.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring rail logistics operations, with ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
