Job Overview

The BIM Technician will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings as per BIM/CAD standards. This includes producing watermains, piping layouts, and profile drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Creation of watermains, piping layouts, and profile drawings in accordance with BIM/CAD standards
  • Preparation of drawings including conceptual sketches and detailed construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D software (pipe networks, profiles, alignments, assemblies & sub-assemblies, 3D Feature Lines and Grading Groups)
  • Production of Revit MEP, HVAC, Electrical models
  • Ensuring compliance with client drafting standards and quality requirements
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Under Graduation (or Pursuing) in Civil Engineering Discipline
  • 3–8 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and Autodesk Civil 3D Design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player with a focus on quality drawing production
  • Civil 3D, Revit, 2D Drafting, Plan & Profile drawings, Layout, key plan, and Standard Drawings
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with BIM processes and standards
  • Knowledge of additional software tools related to civil engineering
