Marketing Operations Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Marketing Operations Assistant to join our global team. This role will be responsible for owning our online assets, including websites, micro-sites, and landing pages, to enhance our online marketing effectiveness and help achieve our business goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end development, with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs. They will also have excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple fast-moving marketing projects simultaneously.

  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs from cross-functional teams
  • Work with the marketing team to maintain our website (using WordPress), micro-sites, and landing pages (with our custom CMS and Contentful)
  • Share inputs to optimize assets for core web vitals, scalability, and validate all user inputs
  • Maintain change logs and documentations
  • Anticipate and track operational and tactical risks and offer strategic solutions
  • Work closely with the core global product marketing team to ensure all operational, promotional, technology, and compliance functions within the firm are being properly executed as per best practices
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
  • Co-ordinate, setup, and maintain our marketing webinars; and offer live back-end support to panelists during the sessions
  • Maintain workflows by coordinating with cross-functional departments, across time zones

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of front-end development experience
  • Good programming-skills and understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and APIs. Knowledge of PHP is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards
  • Basic knowledge of SEO requirements is a plus
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to handle multiple fast-moving marketing projects simultaneously
  • Able to develop ideas with the ability to focus both on details and the big picture
  • Flexibility working across multiple time zones is essential as we are a globally distributed team
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and have an understanding of the marketing funnel
