Senior Web Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Application Developer to lead the development of our web applications using Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.

About the Role:

  • Lead development of scalable, secure web applications for our company.
  • Architect and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines (CI/CD), cloud setups, and server scaling strategies.
  • Implement best practices in security: authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and data protection.
  • Mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure high uptime through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Integrate third-party APIs for payments, shipping, messaging, analytics, and more.
  • Document processes, create handover guides, and establish technical SOPs.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in full-stack development with strong proficiency in Next.js, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in MongoDB schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud hosting and DevOps, including AWS, GCP, or VPS setups, Docker, and CI/CD.
  • Hands-on knowledge of security audits, scaling strategies, and API optimization.
  • Ability to mentor developers and enforce coding standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and system design skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Redis/queues for caching and job processing.
  • Experience with payment gateways and Twilio/WhatsApp APIs.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, serverless functions, or microservices.
  • Exposure to observability tools like Grafana, ELK stack, Prometheus, and Datadog.
