Network Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Solutions Specialist to develop and execute effective sales and alliance strategies with channel partners.

The ideal candidate will have 8-18 years of experience in network solutions/presales, with expertise in Cisco as the primary OEM. Knowledge of Juniper, Arista, Versa, Fortinet, and HP is an advantage.

  • This role involves the RFP/RFI process and bespoke solutions in collaboration with Product teams/vendors, ensuring accurate verification, technical design vetting, and overall cost and quality for the correct design and implementation.
  • You will coordinate and oversee Third-Party Providers for solution components, work with them to create and freeze the Bill of Material, assess and understand client business requirements, translate and record these into formal network solution requirements, and develop a convincing solution strategy regarding current, intermediate, and future mode of operations including migration approach.
  • You will design and develop an end-to-end network solution design to meet agreed network solution requirements while taking into consideration economic parameters and competition.
  • You will participate in due diligence meetings with customers to gather more information on proposal/information request and environment, successfully defend proposed techno-commercial solutions as part of the pre-sales process, prepare Proposal documents including proposals, pricing sheet, solution presentations against RFP's/RFI's, contractual documents such as Statement of Work, Resource Unit Definitions etc.
  • You will keep yourself up to date with latest products features, licensing, architecture, and price, defend end-to-end data solutions to customer/internal stakeholders, work closely alongside other technology owners for optimal solution design in-line with the overall proposed solution, and work with OEM/Partners to ensure an appropriate solution is proposed during Presales Cycle.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of DC-LAN (Tiered designs, Leaf/Spine, VXLAN, DCI, SDN-ACI/NSX), WAN (SDWAN- Viptela/VeloCloud /Versa/Aruba), Campus LAN, Wireless, WLAN, Routing Protocols-BGP/OSPF, Switching/Tunneling communication (i.e., IPsec/VXLAN/GRE), Load Balancer -F5, Network Knowledge of Automation with Ansible/Python/Terraform, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, BOM/BOQ creation etc

Technical Skills: Proficient in Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco SDA, and Cisco ACI, with the ability to create Bill of Materials (BOM). Familiarity with Fortinet, Versa, HP, Juniper, and automation tools such as Python and Ansible is advantageous.

Work Environment: This is a full-time on-site role based in Bangalore for a Network Solutions, OEM Alliance, Channel Partner position. The role involves business planning, managing relationships with channel partners, driving channel sales, and account management.
