Job Summary

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior WAN Engineer located in Hyderabad, India. The Senior WAN Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing WAN solutions.

Daily Tasks

Troubleshooting network issues, configuring Cisco devices, securing network infrastructure, and optimizing network performance are daily tasks of this role.

Role Responsibilities

The Senior WAN Engineer will work closely with the team to ensure the smooth operation of network systems and provide technical support to clients when necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience with WAN implementation and management
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco firewall devices
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN/MAN buildouts
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP are highly desirable
  • Experience in IT facilities management and technical support is beneficial
