Role Overview:
As a Senior Investment Attraction Specialist, you will drive investment promotion and economic development projects, acting as the strategic interface between international governments/EDOs and potential investors.
You will engage C-level executives, identify new business investment opportunities, and offer a compelling proposition that enables Indian companies to invest and expand in their geographies.
In this role, you will:
- Engage directly with CXO-level leaders to uncover investment opportunities
- Lead FDI advisory and economic promotion projects end-to-end
- Drive business development and client relationships with international economic development organizations
- Facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and Trade & Invest Missions

We are a global advisory firm specializing in market entry strategy, investment attraction, and economic development advisory, working with international governments, trade bodies, and economic development organizations (EDOs) to help them attract foreign direct investment (FDI) and foster global trade partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and manage strong relationships with government agencies, trade bodies, and international economic development organizations
- Serve as the key point of contact for clients, ensuring their investment promotion objectives are met
- Conduct high-level discussions with CEOs, CFOs, and CXOs to understand international expansion plans
Business Development & Project Delivery
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for investment promotion for our client geographies and execute ongoing investment promotion projects (In co-ordination with Economic Development Agencies)
- Draft and present compelling proposals, project plans, and strategic recommendations
- Oversee end-to-end project execution: from research and market analysis to investor outreach and delegation management
International Market Expansion & FDI Advisory:
Analyze sectoral trends and identify potential investors for targeted geographies. Facilitate B2B meetings, trade roadshows, and investment promotion events.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal research and strategy teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Liaise with global partners, chambers of commerce, and industry associations.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years in investment promotion, economic development, international trade, market-entry consulting, or business development with governments/trade bodies
- Industry Exposure: Knowledge of FDI, global trade, and sectoral trends (manufacturing, services, technology, life sciences, etc.)
- Networking Ability: Strong CXO-level engagement and relationship-building skills
- Research & Analysis: Capability to interpret market intelligence and convert it into actionable insights
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English; confident presenter to senior stakeholders
- Education: MBA/PG in Business, Economics, Finance, International Trade, or related fields preferred
